South Africa: Commission for Gender Equality calls for comment on state of LGBTI+ equality in South Africa
On 28 September 2021, the Commission for Gender Equality invited the public to fill out a questionnaire on the state of the LGBTI+ equality in South Africa.
The Commission invites the public to make inputs on critical human rights areas affecting the LGBTI+ community: a) criminal justice, b) right to education, c) labour and employment, d) access to healthcare for transgender, intersex, and gender non-conforming persons and e) any other human rights issues deemed crucial for the achievement for LGBTI+ equality in South Africa.
The public is invited to fill out the questionnaire online here or download it as a Word document here and submit it to Mx Busisiwe Deyi at [email protected]. The deadline for input is 10 December 2021.
