Introducing the Power Law Africa Alliance

2 April 2025, Johannesburg – We are delighted to announce that Power & Associates Inc. (South Africa) and Mute & Songa Advocates LLP. (Kenya) have entered into a strategic public interest law alliance to facilitate cross-border public interest litigation and legal services in South Africa, Kenya, and around the African continent.

The alliance, which will operate as Power Law Africa, enables us to expand our service offering to our clients by enabling cross-border public interest litigation and legal services in South Africa and Kenya, and enhancing our knowledge and information-sharing on public interest legal developments across the African continent.

Collectively, the legal practitioners in Power Law Africa will continue to focus on the laws that empower people, protect and promote human rights, and enable a sustainable and resilient future, and we will continue to use legal tools, strategies, and systems to promote just and equitable communities and drive social progress.
